The Train (In Pieces) is one of the four scenes of the VR work In Pieces, Sketches of a Dystopian Present. It narrates the feelings of the daughter of one of the political prisoners as she is traveling to Madrid to visit her father.
“All these people in the train, they don’t know I’m going to see my father in prison…”
Joan Soler-Adillon developed this first version of In Pieces. Sketches of a Dystopian Present during his residency at #gazell.io in October 2018.
The resulting 10/12 minute VR experience was exhibited at Gazelli Art House from October 16th to October 31st, 2018.
