About The Artwork
Prison Visit (In Pieces) is one of the four scenes of the VR work In Pieces, Sketches of a Dystopian Present. It narrates the monthly visit to one of the prisoners by his wife and child. The only moment in the month when the three of them get to share the same physical space.
“We have two hours. It goes on until the prison offices knocks…”
Joan Soler-Adillon developed this first version of In Pieces. Sketches of a Dystopian Present during his residency at #gazell.io in October 2018.
The resulting 10/12 minute VR experience was exhibited at Gazelli Art House from October 16th to October 31st, 2018.
