About The Artwork
As a part of Gazelli Art House’s Basement exhibition The Ruins, Claudia Hart included an installation of custom augmented-reality wallpaper with a custom augmented reality software application used by visitors on an Ipad. Taken from works by Matisse and Picasso, patriarchs of the Modernist canon, these forms cover The Ruins installation and Mattisesque wallpaper in flirtatious copyright infringement. Copyright marks the beginning of Modernism as a response to the emerging technology of photography.
