C.A.R.L.A. and I have continued our VR Cosplay as Tank Girl and Jet Girl, but we decided to bring some poetry to the roles, so we turned to an AI poem generator for some assistance. With the help of our AI ghost writer, C.A.R.L.A. delves into wicked dreamlands and goofy muses through spoken word poetry. I perform an inner dialogue about consciousness, another females’ consciousness to be exact. Could this poem generator be trying to send a message to me? Or maybe to C.A.R.L.A., cross-platforming virtual avatar that she is. You can find the poems beneath the videos of our performances.

POEM 1: The Dream That’s Really Wooly, read by C.A.R.L.A.
I cannot help but stop and look at the wicked dreamland.
Does the dreamland make you shiver?
does it?
How happy is the wicked dreamland!
The dreamland is not good!
the dreamland is exceptionally foul.
Are you upset by how grievous it is?
Does it tear you apart to see the dreamland so foul?
The creativeness that is really diverse,
Above all others is the imagination.
Pay attention to the imagination,
the imagination is the most diverse creativeness of all.

Are you upset by how various it is?
Does it tear you apart to see the imagination so divering?
The dreaming that’s really wooly,
Above all others is the nightmare.
Down, down, down into the darkness of the nightmare,
Gently it goes – the muddled, the hirsute, the flocculent
Why would you think the nightmare is thin?
A nightmare is paunchy. a nightmare is weighty,
a nightmare is tubby
How happy is the big nightmare!
How happy is the wicked, nuclear nightmare!
National, nuclear nightmare.
Muse is womxyn.
womxyn is muse.
A muse is goofy. a muse is unreasonable,
a muse is humorous
I cannot help but stop and look at the dystopian dreamworld.
Does the dreamworld make you shiver?

POEM 2: The Brilliant And Strong Consciousness performed by Carla
Whose consciousness is that? I think I know.
Its owner is quite happy though.
Full of joy like a vivid rainbow,
I watch her laugh. I cry hello.
She gives her consciousness a shake,
And laughs until her belly aches.
The only other sound’s the break,
Of distant waves and birds awake.
The consciousness is brilliant, strong and deep,
But she has promises to keep,
After cake and lots of sleep.
Sweet dreams come to her cheap.
She rises from her gentle bed,
With thoughts of kittens in her head,
She eats her jam with lots of bread.
Ready for the day ahead.
