The Third Day – Chapter 1 – The Engineer, 2018
About The Artwork
On the third day the engineer is discovered alone by
the listening pool. He is strangely downcast;
like a flower with a broken stem.
“I don’t know the origins of any of this” he says
“I am confused by the world”
There is an inescapable logic. It insists itself.
Beguiling as this world can be, only blinded by denial
can we absorb ourselves enough to pretend to not know it.
Tomorrow the engineer will be gone.
