From 2003-2015
Auriea co-ran an independent videogame studio called Tale of Tales which was based in Ghent, Belgium. She and Michael Samyn designed, directed and released 8 videogames which are still downloadable today. In addition to being played they were shown in many exhibitions about the crossovers between games and art, such as VIDEOGAMES: Design, Play, Disrupt at the Victoria & Albert museum in London. For Luxuria Superb they also won the coveted Independent Games Festival Nuovo Award.
