During this residency, I will be exploring what, to me, is an essential and fundamental aspect of reality and existence; that of impermanence/change. Why is everything in our reality constantly changing? Nothing in this reality is permanent, and nothing remains – not even memories. These, too, will eventually fade into nothingness.

 

Over the next few weeks, I will be sharing my ideas, realisations and artwork as the creative process unfolds and evolves. The purpose is to bring about an awareness of the state of impermanence and the illusionary reality we live in.
