VR-Installation, Berlin 2019
‚ms-R‘ is featuring a moon-sliced ring with zero latitude in the VR-space. As the ring moves slowly in a circle around the participant’s view with subtle light and movements, ‚ms-R‘ aims to send the viewer on a journey to black-end spaces.
The mesmerizing experience is bringing together far apart layers of time, exploring in detail the modulated and shaped surface of the moon over millions of years in contradiction to the ongoing realtime-changes of the whole sculpture.
“The project is showcasing the main principles of my art as introduction to the residency and my upcoming studies of simulated, transforming bodies – the work with dimension & scale, forces on material, with space as well with ‘negative’ space as one unit.”
